The KIRK Wireless Server 1500, with its choice of analogue, ISDN or IP interface, is the ideal add-on telephony solution for large businesses with a need for up to 700 wireless users. The basic version of the KIRK Wireless Server 1500 registers 64 wireless users with analogue interface and 350 wireless users with ISDN or IP. When your business evolves and your telephony needs change your KIRK solution can easily be expanded to fit these changing needs. The KIRK Expansion Board and the KIRK Link Card make it possible to double the solution capacity to reach registration of up to 128 and 700 wireless users depending on interface technology..

It is also possible to upgrade the interface technology applied in the KIRK Wireless Server 1500 when more traffic capacity or more wireless users are needed..

With a KIRK solution, a smooth migration is assured for customers wishing to move from analogue or ISDN to IP. There is no need to invest in a new solution - a simple exchange of the KIRK Interface Card to fit the new PBX is enough. The KIRK Wireless Server 1500 also comes in a rack version.

The KIRK Wireless Server 1500 handles all control of the KIRK Base Stations, the KIRK Repeaters, the synchronization for seamless handover, echo cancellation, line delay compensation etc. It furthermore handles the interface to the call handler and has a built-in memory for storing various data during operation.

With the KIRK Wireless Server 1500, a solution can be customized to fit the individual customer needs. The following possibilities represent themselves:
Choice of interface technology: The customer can choose between analogue, ISDN and IP interfaces between the KIRK solution and the PBX/call handler, all depending on customer specific requirements.

Expanding the capacity: It is possible to connect two KIRK Wireless Server 1500 with a KIRK Link Card to double the capacity and add a KIRK Expansion Board to perform the interface for additional 8 KIRK Base Stations.

In its basic version, the KIRK Wireless Server 1500 handles up to 16 KIRK Base Stations, but with a KIRK Link Card and a KIRK Expansion Board, the amount of KIRK Base Stations can be increased to 32. 96 KIRK Repeaters can be added to extend the radio coverage and a total of 700 users can be subscribed to the solution.
